SL Motion Lab worked on projection mapping for Havelocks Kingdom as part of Bright and Shiny Live. The work included system setup and demo configuration, bringing the creative visual content together with the practical requirements of the experience.
The challenge
Projection mapping has to work as both a visual idea and a live system. The content needs to be prepared for the surface and environment, while the technical setup needs to be configured so the experience can be demonstrated clearly and consistently.
The contribution
- Projection mapping for Havelocks Kingdom
- System setup for the mapped experience
- Demo configuration for presentation and testing
- Support for Techside during the Aculas demonstration days
Creative content meets technical delivery
The value of the work was in connecting the visual and practical sides of the project. Mapping content, system arrangement, playback and demonstration requirements all need to be considered together when the work is being shown in a live environment.
Designed for the moment it is used
A successful demonstration is not only about how the content looks in isolation. It is about how clearly the system can be presented, how reliably the setup can be repeated and how well the audience can understand the experience.
Projection mapping support
SL Motion Lab can help with mapped visual content, system preparation, demonstration configuration and the practical questions that sit between the creative idea and the finished setup.
